Yeah, the entire PvE-only crap should take a kick in the teeth. Godmode stuff too in general. The concept of this stuff is bad and allows everything but difficulty.

Please don't forget that me, among other people are against this stuff in general.

Thanks for the edit , but UB should stay in the game until all the professions are balanced and elite areas designed to promote skillful play and not gimmicks.

And I would ban every A/E or A/Me from ToA , chantry and corridor for a day filled with massive lulz.

Well unfortunately that won't happen. The implimentation of various PvE skills, and the super buff to Shadow Form is enough proof that Anet have given up on the PvE side of the game, while things like Signet Spam of Lolu and Wounding Strike are still alive and strong in the PvP side of the game. And as I said in the other thread: The only way to fix PvE for all professions is by completely redesigning PvE, hence complete overhaul, and at this rate it won't even come close to that.

By the way, how about just banning the usage of Arcane Echo and nerfing Shadow Form to be 1 second off ending with Glyph of Swiftness?

Why doesn't anet make a global rule that all characters together on one account can enter FoW and UW only a fixed amount of times (2 times per day as example). This would hurt the farmers and speedclear teams , and not normal teams , since I don't know casual players who complete elite areas all day.

It's a smart concept. Although as I said: Until Anet make a move on the current situation, there's no chance we're going to get anything that will strongly affect these things.

I understand that you are just trying to throw out a random solution, but there are so many things wrong with this idea. It is way too invasive for anet to impose conditions like this - I didn't buy the game to be told how and when to play it (some fool will probably quote this and say that if I bought the game, I agreed to play it on anet's terms. To them I say this: get a life and don't read so much into things or make an argument out of nothing). On top of that, what about PUG groups that try a couple times and fail? What if later on in the day they find a different PUG group, but oh wait, they can't go! There are also guild groups that have perfected techniques that cut down on the time spent actually clearing the area - are we telling them that completing the missions anet set out to design for them to be completed are going to be moderated?

When the 55 could solo the UW they didn't nerf the 55, they nerfed the UW with dying nightmares and remove enchantments. Since they have not nerfed Shadow Form in over a month my guess is something is getting a skill update.

They added Dying Nightmares in order to nerf the 55. A normal party should never have trouble on it.

Well one of them will need to be nerfed soon. If people are complaining that Sins are now valuable in PvE and there is no need to nerf SF, then I would argue that the actual chaos plain run itself will need to be nerfed. Either solutions are better than the status quo.

I am not arguing about the huge imbalance of SF, I think it should be nerfed. But if anet is concerned about pissing off all the sin players and their new found glory, then the least they should do is nerf the run itself like they did with the 55 UW solo runs.

Hmm, Ive done a lot of 55ing in UW ages ago before and after the DNs, and I've done a few SF runs lately till I got bored of it. I think the DNs made it a lot harder than the blacknesses do. You can easily avoid all blacknesses during the run. Either way as I mentioned, I wouldn't mind either the farm or SF nerfed, as long as it happens soon.

The dying nightmares made people do more than look, it forced them to switch from Shield of Judgement [Shield of Judgment] to Spell Breaker [Spell Breaker] and add a second person.

What will an update to the chaos plains do to the speed clears involving ursans, terra, HB, and permasin?

All ursan HM is much more slower than with terras and/or sins. Nerf both (terras and sins) , less ecto , less UW chests are opened due to longer clears etc. ...

I honestly am fine with the terras, they add fun to the run, and you don't see them clearing the entire chaos plains solo in ~25 min like all the sin farmers do. Their effect on ecto farming is not as bad.

As for the UW end chest, you have a valid point.
